My client wanted me to slip the back of this chair. She’s recovering the seats herself. I’m a sucker for a pleated skirt! Do you see what I got?? Up in the top right corner?? My cow painting finally came…I’ll post all about the details of Bessie this week.
An up close and personal look at the pleated skirt!
And another white slipcover! I’m working on this client’s sofa right now. I forgot my camera and had to use my phone to take a pic. I loved that the wrinkles don’t bother her…she has small kids and they live and play in this room! Yay for wrinkles…but only on slips, not my face!
Donna, Slipcovers are put together like puzzle pieces. Just fold your creases the opposite way of how you want them when your fabric is flipped right side out! I don't have anything to show right now…we'll see.
Kristi, What is your suggestion for closures on a t-shaped bottom cushion. My big chair has a t-cushion like the chair in the picture, but it's much bigger and has a very firm cushion and I am trying to figure out how to close it up and still be able to get it back off. 🙂
Oh how this white slipcover makes me want to drop everything else and work on my Lawson chair & Ottoman. I purchased instructions way back when, sigh.
Your work is fantastic and I like the wrinkles too.
Cute idea to slip the chair backs…especially with pleats!
I love the arms. Is there anything that would show how that part was done.
