Finished this slipcover just before Spring Break last week! She’s changing her color scheme from red, gold…green to White Slipcovers with turquoise injected throughout!
If I’ve said it once, I’ve said it a million times…White Slips are the most durable pieces you can own if you have kids and pets. I have both! Freshen up your home for the summer with White slipcovers! I still have a couple of slots open for April you need some new clothes for your furniture…AND if you’re in the Triangle area of NC. Sorry, but I only work locally.

Gotta love a white slip cover – looks amazing!
Thought of you and your post from last month when I read today's devotion over at Proverbs 31 Ministries…. hope you are feeling better these days – praying for you 🙂
HI! I have your book and have made several slipcovers and I'm getting ready to slip my sectional! My question is: what is the very best white fabric to use that is the most sturdy and takes bleach? I have a Pottery Barn sectional, and I haven't been too happy with the fabric (white) that they used. Any suggestions? Robin
I just bought your book but I have a question….how would you prewash 14 yards of fabric so I can shrink it firstly?
@Anonymous Thank you! Glad to know someone is praying for me! So sweet of you.
@Viva Bella
I've found that 100% white cotton duck works best for me! It's quite durable and washes well! Also, I've been throwing a little borax into the wash instead of bleach. Works great!
@juliethebird
I usually cut the fabric in half and wash half at a time. Just make sure you have a long enough piece the length of your sofa and then a little overlap! Good luck! AND send me pics!
Looks great! I just finished white slipcovers for my 2 leather club chairs and I love how light and fresh they look in the room now 🙂
Am I still on your list for my wing chair? Dstephenson5@nc.rr.com
I know you've probably been asked this a million times or more, but can we sew these on our regular light weight sewing machines? Mine is about 20 yrs old. I'm worried that it just won't do the trick. Thanks in advance, Annette
Still a little intimidated by white, but bought fabric for my first piece (doing a total of 4 pieces). Nervous, but excited at the same time. This will be the biggest project I have ever done…usually sew clothing. Bought you instructions, so now time to pre-wash and get started.
Can I place an order for some white slipcovers? Do you take orders?
