Tamerie at A little of This That and the Other made this adorable ruffled dining chair slipcover.
Gina at Slipcover Chic slipped this yummy fabric on this chair…I went right to fabric.com and ordered this fabric called Premier Prints Barber Taupe/Robin. It was on sale! Yay!

Love Love Love the taupe/robin fabric and the chair is soooo cute.
I must have the taupe/robin fabric. But what to sew with it? Decisions, decisions….
I had so many requests for a tutorial on my slip cover; I did a repost of it and told everyone to come here for all their inspirations and to be sure and buy your e-book!
I love that fabric too. i made a tote bag with it.
Even though these samples were done by professionals, I think both would be easily doable for anyone with just a little experience sewing.
I love the idea of making a desk chair look snazzy and less office-like. I always thought they would make great dining chairs. After all, they are designed to be sat in all day.
suuuuu-weet! i so enjoy when chairs are made over…it's exciting!! 🙂
I was wondering if that taupe/robin fabric was really stiff? I've purchased Premier Print fabrics from Fabric.com and they were VERY stiff and almost waxy. I haven't even sewn with them yet because it seems too difficult…or that my finish project would look cheap.
Thanks for featuring my slipcover in the Premier Print fabric. Wow! The taupe/robin's egg blue fabric is very soft to work with and it was washed before making the slipcovers! I loved reading the comments!
