I am tired…in a good way. I quickly jumped back into my life. There should be some sort of a re-entry period after Blissdom…you know…like the astronauts when they come back from space. I couldn’t wait to see my girlies. They made cute little “Welcome Home Mom” signs for me. I took a shower, made artichoke dip and went to a Super Bowl Party. I’m thankful that Harry Connick Jr. didn’t cancel on us…a true southern gentleman with true southern integrity! Thanks Harry! I had great roomies, met lots of my blog crushes ate alot of food and was on information overload…all in a very good way! Needless to say I’m still processing. I’m so behind, I just figured out how to put a twitter app on my black berry.
The most important thing I learned was to be yourself, be genuine…let YOUR voice be heard! That’s the reason I started this blog anyway. I wanted a place to express myself, my creative sewing endeavors and DIY house projects. I wanted to share with people what I had and how they could also do it. I learned it’s not about getting, but giving! It’s about encouraging and supporting one another with the gifts you’ve been given. I love this community. I look forward to next year.
My friend Kris and her sister Kim were speakers there too. They're amazing and I'm sure this was a great time. I love how the kids made you signs. Too cute!

I wanna go next year! I'm a newbie blogger & it looks like a great time.

I totally agree with you. I just started a new blog devoted mainly to my furniture DIY projects and house stuff…such a great way to meet friends and express what you like to do. I totally wanna go to Blissdom next year. Glad you had fun!!

I had the best time at Blissdom. I just couldn't have imagined a better weekend.
Can you believe no one put me in the looney bin for walking around with my flat friends? LOL
Love the picture. I feel so famous now!

I was sorry I missed Blissdom this year – maybe next year.
And good for you making those slipcovers – they look fabulous! I wish I could sew like that…

I so hope that I can go to the next one…I have loved reading the recaps…
I would so love to go to Blissdom! Except I'm super shy in real life, and I'd be afraid that no one would care if they met me or not!
