On a thrifting jaunt with kids in tow…I found a pair of these matching lamps at the thrift store…which is hard to come by, so I snapped ’em up!

After: I had black zebra print fabric..so I just painted the lamp stand black and hot-glued the fabric onto the shade!
I also grew weary of my wispy white sheers hanging on my window…so I ring-clipped some toile fabric to the rod. No-sew lampshades and curtains…gotta love that!
These look great!! Great revamp!!
I love the lamps! The “new” shades look great. I love thrifting too!
Those are so adorable! I’ve been really loving the zebra print lately too. Still trying to convince hubby to redo our dining room chairs in it, but no luck so far. And your monogrammed throw pillow looks great. I’m sure you did that one too 🙂>>-Hayley
They add just the right amount of sass – love it!

You did it, got the zebra touch with out a lot of money. It looks great & you've got to love a deal & one that looks so good.
Well, “you got me!”~~~ Delightful pics, great ideas (n’ fab results from them) and great writing to boot! Just “found” you here, n’ just marked you on my “FAVS”! Thanks so much! Linda/ “Mom…” (RMS Mom of a German Shorthair)~ HAPPY 2009!!!

I do love it! Matching lamps are truly a find! Wonderful project!
I love your redo! Was it hard to cover the shades?
Kristin,>No, it wasn’t hard i just rolled the lampshade onto the fabric for measurement…cut…folded and hot glued to the inside.
I love the toile on the windows!! SO pretty. The lampshades are great too. :o)
