I realized after that last post…I probably need a paint intervention…or to drink less coffee. I love the color it is and now (a gray with a green tint…$5.50 at Walmart). Now, I need some paraphernalia to put up on the wall. Maybe I’ll nester me up some kinda plate display or something…or a mirror??

LOVE the blue paint! It makes everything “jump” alive. I’m really enjoying your chalk board too. I’m thinking about buying some of that paint for a few things around my house. I have a kiddo on the way and it would be cute (well, once she’s here, can move and all that jazz) to have on the wall. >>The zebra chair is great! I want a zebra rug for my kitchen (that’s currently being painted black and tan). But a chair, that would be cool too! 🙂
Oh do I have the painting bug too. It was all I could do today to restrain myself from going to Lowe’s. But one thing at a time. Massive Christmas takedown first. Then maybe painting. I love the mag pic too, thinking about painting everything light/white and just adding color with fabric and accessories. We have such similiar style. Can’t wait to meet you!>>Do you know the color you used on your shutters that were over your fp?
Edie,>I did not paint those shutters. I found them in a thrift store…4 for $3.98. They are plastic and cheap as dirt. They look like a hunter greenish color. I am going to paint them…however. color??? ok…and you’re the one that got me all hot and bothered with the animal print chair! Love your leopard print!
That new paint color really warmed up that room. Looks great. I vote for plates on the wall. Mimi
Love the new paint color – very warm! I think a “Nester” plate display would look perfect there!
It looks great! How funny…We moved a big piece of furniture in the living room the other day…It opened up some empty space…I thought of putting a chair there…In animal print…In zebra none the less, to add a little flare! *smiles*
Oh, I was really lovin' that blue paint, but the kahki is nice too. And I'm with you on Zebra. Just put some of that in my guestroom redo a month ago & would love a little more. That's a great space you've got there! >>Looking forward to meeting you at Blissdom! I'm having a Top Projects of 2008 party tomorrow, so if you have something to share, please come on by & get linked up!
you are going to crack up ! I know who owns that house – or used to own it! she’s a field editor and we met from my blog. I sent her this post, she is going to love this soooo much!!!!! you have the cutest blog – I just read the whole thing.
I LOVE all your projects! Thanks for the warning about the chalk board! Good job redoing the wall. Love your blog! Susan
