Ok…so I was going to post about my peaceful 4 o’clock tea time…like I’m Bristish or something (which I’m not). I am a full-fledged grits girl! Anyway, my sis-in-law brought this tea from England on her last visit and I swear I’m hooked! Everyday, after carpool (the indy 500), I come home, put the water on and make my tea…All the while the neighborhood kids are over & all are outside jumping on the trampoline! It’s really quite pleasant. Today…though…
the temperature is 95…so they played inside. My tea time turned into referee time. BTW, remember when we used to play outside in extreme weather conditions riding bikes ’til dark? My point is…this is the yummiest tea. I’m headed to visit my sis-in-law in Harrogate, in a couple of weeks, and plan on bringing back loads! Also, I can’t wait to show you what I just picked up from craigslist!
great post! bring me some yummy tea and can’t wait to see your craigslist find 🙂
I’m more of a coffee girl, but I know what you mean about having relaxing time set aside!
I’m a GRITS girl too. Tennessee to be exact. 😉 I’ve never been a tea drinker but I’ve been thinking about giving it another try.>>Claire
Don’t get me wrong, I love my coffee! My kids say “Morning Mommy” doesn’t exist until after her 1st cup of coffee. Is that horrible or what? My poor kids…
That’s hilarious; my husband always jokes that he is scared to see what I would be like without my morning caffeine. Oh well, at least it has him trained to make me coffee before he leaves for work every day!
I have been stopping in from time to time, but wanted to comment on your tea. I love that tea too, my girlfriend turned me on to it after her trip to England. I have found it here at one of our grocery stores, BUT I just saw it a Marshall’s. Go figure…if you have one close by you might want to check it out and see. Just FYI 🙂
O.K you better let me try a cup of that tea when you return!
