Friday’s Featured Slipcovers
Carrie over at Ohdeedoh slipped this ikea chair…she has other examples shown.
Check out the Orla-esque freezer paper art on this white slipcover by Dried Figs and Wooden Spools.
Cara from Johnson Manorisms made her first white sofa slip. She had this to say about the Lazy Girl’s Guide to Slipcovers…
“Then I found Pink & Polka Dot’s “Lazy Girl’s Guide to Custom Slipcovers” and suddenly, I had PERMISSION to just do what made sense, connect the pieces, without all the “rules” of sewing tripping me up. With simple instructions and a few pictures for illustration, the Lazy Girl’s Guide is a springboard for your inspiration to run wild, minus the doubts about getting it “right”.
I think I should hire Cara to do my marketing. It really is as simple as putting puzzle pieces together and if you want to try it, click on the button below to purchase. Just have fun!
i completely agree… i love what she said about “permission,” because the book really shows that it *can* be easy! 🙂
This is so cool! Thanks for including my slip in your Friday Feature!
When slips are done well they can look awesome. Thanks
