Weekend Painting Frenzy

Weekend Painting Frenzy

I’m a liar. Please forgive me. The day after this post, I went thrifting…kinda by accident. It happens like that ya know…you just kinda fall into it. One minute you’re driving and the next thing you know your car has taken you hostage to the nearest goodwill. Sometimes the powers that be KNOW better than you. And you just have to trust that.

Desk Before

So I came home with this adorable desk with a matching night stand. I’m in the process of painting right now. I did sell two dressers this weekend.

Pedestal Table After

And I think I’m getting ready to sell this gorgeous pedestal table I just finished. It screams cottage.

Pedestal Table Before

It looked like this before. It’s so hard to let go of furniture for me…it’s like they have roots and have embedded themselves into my very flesh. It’s painful sometimes…especially because I don’t want to have seller’s remorse. What did you paint in a frenzy this weekend?

  1. Dam why can't we live closer, I need that desk! I've been on the lookout for one and its perfect. Love the white cottage table makeover. You did a great job!

  2. That desk is darling…can't wait to see it once you've painted it all up! I worked like a mad woman on our hall bathroom…said goodbye to a dark western brown and lightened it up with the prettiest shade of turquoise…and added a new light fixture…

    Have a great day!

  3. My car has a mind of its own, it won't let me pass up goodwill, Homegoods or target for that matter, LOL!! The table looks so pretty, I thought it was for your house, but I guess we can't kep everything (; For some reason I couldn't see the other pic's so I'm just going to have to imagine how cute they are!

  4. Love, love, love….painted the laundry room but today I want to paint a double rocker I bought. It's one of those Cracker Barrel ones but the caning from the back part is ripping. Trying to figure out how to salvage or redo it. 🙂
