My Aunt Pearl passed away Tuesday morning. She was 94 and her motto was “Eat dessert first.” Thank you for all your thoughts and prayers for our family! You are all so dear. Today eat your dessert first in honor of Aunt Pearl. xoxo

What beautiful thoughts about Aunt Pearl, and what a sweet photo of her. Love you girl. Sending prayers your way today.
I sorry to hear about your Aunt Pearl. I liked her motto.
I LOVE Aunt Pearl's motto – what a wonderful legacy she must have left! My husband is home for the summer (he's a teacher) and doesn't understand how it can be okay to sometimes have ice cream right before lunch, to have a picnic lunch in someone's bedroom or to skip naps, laundry and dishes if our Grammy has had surgery and needs a hug from her favorite grandbabies…?
We will be praying for your family and are so sorry for your loss!
What a sweet remembrance of her. I am about to eat my dessert….and then my tomato sandwich!
Thinking of you. No matter how old our loved ones are they leave a whole in our heart when they pass. May God bless and comfort.
Chocolate chip pancakes for breakfast, with whip cream, thank you for sharing about your Aunt Pearl.
So sorry for your loss of such an amazing woman. I love this photo and the last one you posted of her – what a spirit! My grandmother once read me a story about a woman who said to eat dessert first and wanted to be buried with a spoon in her hand. She got such a chuckle from that. Sending your family prayers for peace and warm memories!
So sorry for your loss. I love her motto and just might adopt it myself.
