New Favorite Recipe
i found this yummy recipe for chocolate chip banana bread over at orangette. i love this recipe because there is no butter or oil…and to my surprise it was not dry at all. i started looking for this recipe…because…when i used to live in Hawaii (yes, i really did), my friend and i would drive to Haleiwa on the north shore to go to this coffee shop called coffee gallery. we would get the best cup of coffee and a piece of their chocolate chip banana bread…as we watched all the surfers streaming in and out. i’ve been trying to re-create it ever since. i still haven’t, but i try. oh, yeah…i did try my hand at surfing. i bought a board and everything, but sold it when i followed the man of my dreams to california.

Yum!! I have a similar recipe! I love using Lighter Bake instead of oil or butter… have you used that!?! mind you I should have scanned the recipe first! 😉
