I finally finished some aprons and put them on my etsy shop. See those cuties above? All your money you use to buy those cute n’ sassy aprons are going to support a school in Guatemala. Just some background: a few years ago, I went to Guatemala and fell in love & really wanted to do something to help the school.
The teacher’s volunteer and would work even when they weren’t paid…hearts of gold I tell ya! Their salary came through donations only. After coming home, I became a supporter of Friends of Guatemala and I support one of the teacher’s. They make $13.50 a day! Yes…do the math! $800 a quarter. So, I decided to instill a little help from my blog peeps and give you something great in return. All you gotta do is BUY an apron and know that your money is going to the Adopt-a-teacher program for this quarter…Oct.1 If you don’t want to buy one of my ugly aprons, you can just donate.
Here’s a peek at my favorite! Go to etsy to see the other’s. Muchos Gracias!
These aprons are so cute!!! I went over to your Etsy shop…love it! I think that is so great to donate the money to Friends of Guatemala.
Count me in! I’ve been waiting for your aprons on etsy! Yay! What a great cause, too!
