My FIRST Quilts
These are the First two quilts I’ve made. I made them last summer to give to a little project called “More than a Roof”. They were given to a single mom who needed them for her kids.
My friend, asked if I could make a couple of quilts…as if I do it all the time. She said, ” it’s so easy, just do this & that & tahdah! I thought there is no way…like I could just whip them out…as if I was making a cup of coffee! Well, that’s what I did. Make a BIG pot of coffee and out came these quilts. Adorable, if I say so myself!

I want to start working on my next quilt. A Hawaiian print. So, I’m going to thrift stores to find men’s L or XL Hawaiian printed shirts. And I’m going to cut them up into squares. When I have everything, I’ll post my “lazy girl’s guide to making a quilt” tutorial. It REALLY is so easy! And it really is SO hard to get a good pic of my quilt!
I have been dieing to know how to quilt, but I feel so overwhelmed…. I would LOVE to know more about the lazy girl's guide to quilting!
