I hit some thrift stores and some of the consignment stores while there. I always get so inspired when in this store…Thrill of the Hunt!
Shelley also brought her sister, Angie, with her. They are hilarious yall! Seriously, I was laughing the whole time! I was trying to talk Shelley and Gina into doing a slipcover conference in the south…or some kind of slipcover get together? Help me talk them into it!
YES!!!!!
I adore Shelley…between you, Marian and Shelley's fabulous DVD, I have so far managed to slip five chairs, one sofa bed and two ottomans!
I still have so much more to learn…Slipping Conference is a wonderful idea!!!!!
How did Shelley end up in your neck of the woods??
Loks like you guys had so much fun!
Enjoy the day

Yes, a Southern Slipcover conference would be wonderful. I live just outside of Nashville and I own The Franklin Slipcover Co. I read all three ladies blogs and love them all. It is so fun to talk with others in the business.
WE all had so much fun. Our own slipcover summitt! Thank you Pink and Polka Dot girl for joining us, you definitely had us all going!! I think the idea of a southern summit is awesome! I will see if I can get Shelley and Angie to the beach again!
My son lives in Wilmington, NC and i wonder if you could tell me the name of the stores you visited? I only know of one store with the name Ivy in it on Market Street.
I'd love to go to a Slipcover Conference to learn to slipcover.
The first time I ever talked with Gina on the phone, she offered her guest room…little did she know I would actually take her up on the offer! Kristi…so fun to meet you! Back in Utah now…and back to work, got two chairs done today!
K38????
Thrill of the Hunt???
Omgosh, what I am doing across an ocean? Wish I could have tagged along.
xoxo
I cannot believe that I discovered your website the week AFTER I moved away from Wilmington, NC! You are so lucky to be able to shop at all of the great consignment shops that keep cropping up around town. Thank you for your wonderful e-book and for all of the great tips and ideas. Keep shining!
