A quick jaunt to Newcastle, England

February 22, 2011

Newcastle, England

I went on a quick trip to England to help my girlfriend with her kids. Her hubs was already there for work and she needed another set of eyes and some extra hands. They are living in the cutest place and I’ll have pictures of there new flat tomorrow. Just wanted to give yall a quick update and let you know I didn’t fall off the face of the earth. I ate a lot of food and drank a lot of tea! I’m off to go find an electric tea kettle right now and I think I may try to make this yummy pain au chocolate. I mean…seriously…what’s NOT good about chocolate wrapped in a croissant? I just used “yall” and “flat” in the same paragraph.

Can't wait to see the pics! I have a plaque that a friend brought back from Israel; it says, Shalom, y'all. Love it! 🙂

Can't wait to see the pics! It will be 10ys in Sept since I've been to England. Though I was single at the time, I can't wait till I can take my whole family to all the wonderful spots I visited.

Did you by any chance stalk outside of RPattz house? I know you did! I want those pictures, too!

Glad you had a great time and made it back safely. xoxo

The chant goes up, “Photos! Photos!” We're all waiting. No pressure…

I think of England as slipcover capital of the world. Is it true? You would notice if it were. Maybe you have to get into the homes of little old ladies with chintz slipped chairs.

    Details!

By the way, I really have to say that this is a horrible picture of me. I have four chins and, fittingly, am spreading butter on bread. K, how could you?!
