Can you hear it?
It’s the sound of kid’s not fighting over the wii they got for Christmas. It’s the sound of Big Sister’s not yelling about Little sister’s entering their room without knocking. It’s the sound of nothingness and quiet. It’s music to my ear’s right this minute as I eat my breakfast and get ready for the day. My little’s are off at school. It really was such a short Christmas vacation…we slept in, ate lots of food and my arm is sore from knocking out my husband in wii boxing. Time to start organizing and decluttering!
I will hear it in about 2 hours, but it kind of makes me sad.

Exactly! I'm loving the quiet this morning. I still have little Soph (my sidekick) but w/out the constant taunting and teasing from her big brothers, she's an angel. 🙂
It's always so bittersweet! Mine return to school on Wednesday – so two more days. Right now I am enjoying a little quiet time as they sleep in for one of the last times for a while!
Not yet. I'll hear it tomorrow. I have enjoyed sleeping in though and will miss it terribly. Looking forward to getting organized around the house as well.
Hmmm I still hear the yelling but I guess I've learned to embrace it, or is tuning it out a better word for it 🙂
ahhhh…yes so lovely. Even though I have to work…isn't it fabulous? And yet I miss them SOOOOO!
