Some days I find myself behind this…and my impatience starts to soar. And then I think…I’m glad it’s not the 405 Fwy in L.A. Give me a tractor and a red, beat up, old ford pick-up truck any day. Off to squeeze in one last weekend at the beach! Have a great Labor Day Weekend!
I get behind something like that every day, too. LOL My son loves it way more than I do.
Too funny. That's the south for ya. Everything seems to move a little slower–kinda like the southern drawl! Wish I was headed to the beach for the weekend. Which beach do you go to? We adore Tybee Island near Savannah.
I can totally relate! : )
That reminds me of my daily trip to town! {LOL} Hope you have a great weekend! = )
I know that feeling all too well! : )
Where I grew up we lived on a gravel road and would get stuck behind tractors. Can't pass them unless you want to run into a ditch. Sometimes the farmers would pull over a bit so we could squeeze around them.
This particular problem is not confined to the south. We have the same thing here in the Northeast!
Have you heard the song “International Harvester” by Craig Morgan (country song)? You will totally laugh!
Yap. That's right. When life starts getting to fast the good Lord has a way of slowing us down again. Enjoy your weekend.
You know you live in the south when you hear something loud, go to the window to find a back hoe going through the neighborhood. LOVE IT!!
You are soooo RIGHT!! I amde a trip down teh 405 a few weekends back. YUCK!!!!
haha, I love (not really) being behind the tractors. I actually tried to take a picture the other day but was unable to!
I'd rather be there than on the 405 any day, too. I don't know what it is about that picture, but I think it's amazing. It makes me really relaxed just looking at it. Have a great Labor Day weekend!
PRICELESS….
Hey, I think I drove behind that same red truck the other day ! 🙂
Your blog is really cute.
It has inspired me to get a bit crafty !!
Oh yeah, we in rural Missouri follow behind John Deere, New Hollands or International Harvesters….
