First get out your cutest coffee mug! If you don’t have one…I just happened to have listed some in my etsy shop.
Need:
- coffee
- sugar
- hershey’s chocolate syrup
- REAL half & half or whipping cream
- whipped cream
- milk frother or your handy dandy whisk
Make coffee…decaf or caf…your call. Put a heaping spoon of sugar in mug, fill mug almost 1/4 the way with cream. Add some hershey’s chocolate syrup. Put in the microwave for about 30 sec. to warm up the cream. Froth with your milk frother OR put your whisk in your cup…hold it between both hands and go back and forth until your milk is frothed. Make sense? Pour coffee. Stir with spoon and top with whipped cream. Enjoy!
Then go frolic in the sun with your kids.
Take pictures of lizards, turtles, mallards and tree info and call it a nature walk.
Thanks for the homeschooling encouragement! A few weeks ago I was feeling burned out. Now that spring is almost here, I’m feeling much more optimistic. Funny how a little sunshine can make all the difference!
It’s also delicious to just mix in a hot chocolate packet with coffee and add a little milk. YUM!
Sounds yummy, I am on my first cup of the morning of reg coffee, I think my next cup will be mocha!
Great photos!
Sounds great! I am such a coffee junkie…>~Misti
Sounds great, even for this non homeschooling momma
For some reason I am really liking the “C” travel mug… I don’t know why?! Very cute!
umm..YUM! That sounds delish! I might have to try that out tomorrow when we’re doubling up on school since we were out galavanting today!
You know what’s funny?…(and maybe a little creepy too.) Every morning when I pick out a coffee mug I think of you. (probably because you tend to hold coffee mugs in your apron pictures) Some of the mugs were given to me by dear friends IRL, but no, I think of YOU.
I love the mocha idea! Thanks!
I was happy to discover your Pink and Polka Dot blog today. I was unable to find a contact link or profile page in your blog. I hope it’s OK that I’m contacting you through a public comment. I’ve developed an educational program for Windows called SpellQuizzer that helps children learn their spelling words without the battle that parents often have getting them to sit down and write them out while the parents dictate to them. The parent enters the child’s spelling words into the software making a sound recording of each word. Then the software helps the child practice his or her words. It really helped my children with their weekly spelling lists. >>I would appreciate your reviewing SpellQuizzer in Pink and Polka Dot. You can learn more about the program at http://www.SpellQuizzer.com. There’s a video demo you can watch at http://www.spellquizzer.com/SpellQuizzer-Demo.htm. I’d be happy to send you a complimentary license for the software. Please let me know if you are interested.>>Thank you very much!>>Dan Hite>TedCo Software>Dan@SpellQuizzer.com
