Jennifer Forker with the Associated Press wrote an article entitled “Crafts to make a home office homey” and she used my “recycled magazine holder” tutorial. You can read the article here, here, here and here. So I decided to do somewhat of a re-post…just in case you’re trying to organize and need one more project to do. Just click here for the tutorial.
Wow, You’re a celebrity!
Woohoo! I’m inpressed! I have tons of large cereal boxes that I can recycle.>>I used to do this years ago when I taught school. You can adapt it for children’s books too. Just use smaller boxes and cover in cutesy, bright colors. They can put fairy tales in one, animal books in another, etc. Mine were color coded for my kindergarteners. Yellow box for easy books…you get the idea! The kids can help decorate them as well! >>This is a great idea for all of those magazines that I can’t bear to part with. Thanks!>Blessings,>Susan
Congrats, you’re getting famous! And I AM going to try that project one of these days.
That’s great!
Wow girl! You made WRAL, you’re famous. Ok, so that’s probably only a big deal to an NC person, but that’s great!! Does this mean I have more cool points now that I’ve met you in real life? 🙂 Congratulations!>>-Hayley
I’ve had this tutorial printed with plans to do for my craft room. I love this!
It is a great tutorial. I have sent the post to several of my friends.
What a great idea! And I love the way it turned out. Maybe I can work that into my week???>>Jen
