My client has an amazingly beautiful home full of slipcovers! It was gorgeous and she wanted to soften the wood kitchen table and chairs by adding slipcovers. I think they turned out beautiful and just in time for Christmas!
This weekend, I did a little painting and a little sewing for fun for myself. All work and no play…doesn’t decorate your house. or something like that. Anyway, like I said we live in a cute little cottage…that needs some sprucing up. I painted some furniture, got some flowers and made some pillows for the front porch.
My neighbor…Miss Rose came over and said, “your front porch looks so cute…I think I’m going to do something with mine.” She is so sweet. Needless to say I have landed in a neighborhood where I’m the youngest person…and I love it. And in the south, we still say “yes maam” and call our elders “Miss…whatever their first name is.”
And a pic of the current slipcover I’m working on for a client…Andrea! I’ve finished two chairs for her…and I am in love with this fabric she chose. I will show you the final product when it’s done.
On that note, I’m about 8-10 weeks out. So, if you’re interested in some new clothes for your furniture…hit me up and let’s get you on the schedule! You can find pricing and info here. Also, check out my gallery of slips here! Have a great Tuesday!!
I finally bit the bullet and went all decorators white! or as some would say…I went all sanitarium and now I just need the strait-jacket to prove it. I love the calmness it brings. Makes me feel like I can breathe. I’ll show you more when I get it up and running!
I was thinking of doing a little twist on “Friday’s Featured Slipcovers”. A “Pet Edition.” See…there are some who don’t believe your pet should be on your furniture. I know. Right! I mean…isn’t that one of the reasons we make slipcovers…for our pets. So take a pic of your pet on your slipcover, post it…then come back here on Friday and link up for the “Slipcover Party ~ Pet Edition!”
